Southgate Public School is proud to announce that Deanna Landrum, our library media specialist, has been selected as the October Staff Member of the Month. We asked her to share a little about herself:
"This is my 12th year at Southgate and I am honored to serve the children and families of this community. In my time at Southgate I first taught Middle Grades Social Studies and for the last 5 years I have been the Library Media Specialist and Tech Specialist. I am so grateful to have found Southgate and been able to grow into my career and share my passions.
Outside of school I enjoy reading, crafting and spending time with my family. I have a son named Alec (7) and a dog named Leeloo.
Southgate has impacted my life in so many ways and I look forward to continuing to teach the students of Southgate! Small School, Big Pride!"
