Dear Southgate Families,
The students, faculty, and staff of Southgate Public School would like to cordially invite you to our Veterans Day Assembly on Wednesday, November 11, 2026, in the William F. Haas School Auditorium. We will be paying tribute to all veterans and active military personnel, and in particular those who are a part of our school community. The assembly will begin at 9:00 AM and is open to all guests.
Veterans are also invited to join us for a hot, fresh breakfast starting at 8:15 AM that morning in the school library prior to the assembly beginning at 9:00 AM.
In addition to our Veterans Day Assembly, we would like to feature pictures and service information on our “Wall of Honor” of veterans and active military personnel who are a part of our Southgate community. If you would like to recognize any veteran (living or deceased), or someone currently serving, please complete the form below (and send a picture if possible) and return it to your child’s homeroom teacher by Friday, November 6. If you have questions about the Wall of Honor submissions, please email Mrs. Landrum at deanna.landrum@southgate.kyschools.us.
Please fill out one form for EACH veteran or active military member you'd like to honor. If you filled out one in previous years, your submission will be displayed again this year, there is no reason to re-submit information for 2026.
