Southgate School Community - Southgate Public School has cancelled PM preschool and will be dismissing all other students at 1pm today. PLEASE pick up your child(ren) promptly at 1pm. We were a recipient of the KY Book Festival Grant! Thanks to this program, Author Susan Mills came to Southgate and spoke to K-3 students about writing and finding an outlet for stress and anxiety. Each student received a signed book! Thanks to @KYHumanities for the opportunity!

Tomorrow Rock Your Crazy Socks- To celebrate World Down Syndrome Day and honor our very own fierce lion we will wear crazy socks! Down syndrome occurs when a third copy of the 21st chromosome is present. Because chromosomes look like socks, we celebrate our friends with Down syndrome by wearing fun socks on March 21st.
