🎃 Southgate Public School invites all local businesses, families, and neighbors to help bring the Halloween magic to life during our annual student costume parade! Let’s make this year’s parade a true Southgate Spooktacular on Friday, October 31st at 1:15 PM.
Ways to Participate:
- Host a candy or trinket station along the route (no homemade food)
- Set up bubble machines, smoke/fog machine, or Halloween music
- Decorate your porch or parade viewing area; sit in lawn chairs and wave; help us cheer on our Lions
- Donate treats, decorations, or supplies to support the event
Whether you're a business looking to connect with families or a neighbor who loves the Fall season, we’d love to have you join the fun!

Southgate Families: Come cheer, set up lawn chairs along the sidewalks, pass out treats, play fun music/blow bubbles, take photos, and help us celebrate this beloved tradition with BIG Southgate pride! You can set up anywhere along the designed route:

We're excited to have a Small School BIG Pride Day in Southgate this Friday! Everyone will be wearing their gray Leo the Lion TEAM shirts tomorrow. Some teachers are passing out the gray shirts in the AM while others were sent home today with students. Please message your child's homeroom teacher with any questions. Go 🦁!

The Scholastic Book Fair will be open during parent teacher conferences this week. All proceeds from the book fair go directly back to Southgate student libraries! Please consider getting your student a new book for the break and supporting our school library!
